In the lesson that concerns us this week, we are goingo to try explain as well as posible the different operations that can be performed at the time of making the desired metal shaping.

These are:
-Cut
-Fold
-Stretch
-Collect
-Weld

The first thing we must take into consideration in this topic is how to crop up all these metal forming techniques, see the artisan taste for wearing in their cars totally handmade pieces without sacrificing the technical performance and aesthetic especially the parts concerned.

Lo primero que hemos de tener en cuenta en este tema es cómo surjen todas estas técnicas de conformado del metal, véase del gusto del artesano por lucir en sus automóviles piezas totalmente hechas a mano sin renunciar por ello a las prestaciones técnicas y sobre todo estéticas de las piezas en cuestión.

Bueno como en cualquier cosa relacionada con la reparación, construcción etc, siempre hemos de tener en cuenta las necesidades específicas de la pieza (en cuanto a forma, carga estática, dinámica), técnicas a las que le vamos a someter (cortar, estirar, recoger,,,), el acabado de éstas va a depender en buena medida del artesano que vaya a realizarlas y,,, DE LAS HERRAMIENTAS, ÚTILES, Y TODAS AQUELLAS MÁQUINAS TANTO COMPRADAS O DE FABRICACIÓN PROPIA DE QUE DISPONGA Y LO MÁS IMPORTANTE DE TODO, SU IMAGINACIÓN. De esta forma podrá cubrir un amplio abanico de posibles piezas. Así pues, haremos especial mención a la rueda inglesa, diferentes martillos o útiles para golpear y "tases",,, (estirar, recoger), martillos mecánicos, neumáticos... De todo ello podríamos llenar un libro de explicaciones, gráficos y técnicas,,, simplemente mencionaré que se trata de un mecanismo de prensa, compuesto por dos rodillos, el superior nos hará presión sobre el inferior, y el inferior nos dará la forma o marcará la pieza con la forma deseada. A medida que uno ve media docena de videos de conformado en frío del metal se da cuenta de que con la herramienta/procedimiento adecuados y la imaginación, las posibilidades son infinitasssssssssssss.
